Walk-In Service Under 5 Minutes fix or Tech Advice $20

General IT Services for Pensioner & Concession Card Holders: $112.50 (this price includes 10% discount)

General IT Services: $125 Hour (Every 30 min rounded up, minimum spend on callout 1 Hour)

Tutoring Services: Currently not available

Full system check-up & service $189

Remote Assistance – $50 per half hour

Emergency or After Hour Rates: $250 Hour

Pensioner & Concession Discount : 2% discount on most physical products

No Show and Cancellation Fees:

PLEASE KEEP IN MIND IN-HOME APPOINTMENTS WILL BE ATTENDED BY A TECHNICIAN WITHIN A 4 HOUR WINDOW FROM THE SCHEDULED TIME.

1. Cancellations that occur without a minimum of 48 business hours' notice prior to your scheduled appointment will result in a cancellation fee of $50. In the event that you wish to reschedule your appointment, a re-booking fee of $20 will be applicable at the time of service. It is important to note that I retain the discretion to waive these fees under certain circumstances.

 

2. If you do not attend your scheduled appointment at the store, a full hour's charge will be applied to your account. This policy is in place to ensure that time slots are respected and that other clients are not adversely affected by missed appointments.

 

3. For services conducted in your home, if you are not available at the time of my arrival, you will incur a charge for a full hour, in addition to the standard callout fee. Furthermore, if you arrive more than 15 minutes late for your in-store appointment, Ben's IT reserves the right to consider this as a failure to attend, which will also result in a full hour's charge. These policies are designed to maintain a professional and efficient service for all clients.

Refunds and Warranty Policy

1. We are not obligated to issue a refund or replacement if you decide to change your mind. For items with hardware faults, repairs will be conducted, and if a major issue exists that cannot be resolved, an exchange will be provided. If it is an issue regarding software a replacement software and or fix will be investigated only within the 7 days of the aftersales support window. Issues arising from software updates or similar circumstances outside Ben’s IT’s control are excluded from Ben’s IT support warranty, which only covers critical hardware defects under the manufacturer's warranty.

 

2. If an exact replacement is not accessible, a comparable model will be provided. In cases where a replacement software is impractical or a solution cannot be identified, Ben's IT Services may, at its discretion, issue a partial or full refund for software-related problems depending on the severity. However, a full refund applies if physical hardware is beyond repair or replacement as per consumer law. To iterate, for any IT Services you are paying for Ben’s IT Services time.

 

 3. It is your responsibility to back up your data, and you will not receive compensation for any data loss resulting from possible equipment failure. In the case of product failure, you should first contact Ben's IT Services for repair or replacement under warranty. Failure to report any hardware or software issues may void the warranty. If the problem is determined to be caused by the customer, work will cease, and the customer will be billed at standard rates for the services rendered up to that point, with prior notification of the charges to rectify the issue.

Payments & Debts

Ben's IT Services facilitates payments via Cash, Bank Transfer, and Card - cheques are no longer an accepted. Should invoices remain unpaid past the due date, you will incur all expenses associated with debt recovery efforts. A fixed charge of $50 will be imposed for each week the outstanding balance persists. If you are experiencing financial difficulties, please reach out to discuss a customized payment plan – an agreed amount of interest will also be added at Ben’s IT’s discretion.

Good To Know

If a problem cannot be fixed, you will only be charged for the consultation and callout fee if it is applicable. Ben's IT Services will offer different discounts and promotions from time to time. Discounts are only applicable when invoices are paid on or before the due date. After-sales support is only good for 7 Days after service is provided. You can purchase an extended after-sales support or extended warranty package at an additional cost if applicable at the time of sale or service.

Australian Cosnumer Law Act

Nothing in these terms and conditions diminishes your rights as a consumer under the Australian consumer law act.

Data Loss

Any engagement involving software or hardware may result in data loss. It is imperative that you back up any critical data on your systems before any repair, service, or upgrade activities take place. Should you need data backup services, these can be arranged before work begins for an additional fee. Please submit this request in writing before work commencing.
